  • Hama: “Great and holy Hama, you are the warden of the gods and the father of mankind. From your hall in the Fells, near Bifrost, you watch and listen. Join us here to honor your deeds. We seek your aid to strengthen our abilities and to find others who would add their own for the good of the community. Hama, we welcome you! Hail, Hama!”
  • Tiw: “Brave and fearless Tiw, you are called “best in stoutness of heart.” You bound Loki’s child, making your sacrifice to protect your kin. Wise Tiw we pray you join us as we honor your deeds and seek your counsel in our affairs. Help us to keep our oaths! Tiw, we welcome you! Hail, Tiw!”

  • Frige: “Mighty Frige, bright lady and chief of the valkyries. You who are strong and demanding, but also fair and generous. You are the keeper of the home and those that tend the hearth fires. You and you alone can rival Woden in his wisdom. From the deepest wells of knowledge, all-knowing Frige, there is no tongue in which to tell, of all that is and that shall be. It is through your influence of love and divination that you help us keep our mundane lives in line with the spiritual.Teach us what wisdom lies beyond the words of men. Hail, Frige!”
  • Neorðu/Eorthan Modor: “Eorthan Modor, with frith in our hearts we honor the bounty that you bestow upon us. May we walk in balance with the great valley and all that share in its bounty. • Ancestors: “Long ago, life began.
From that life, lives emerged. From those lives, our ancestors rose.
Their actions lead to the birth of our ancient ancestors.
Our ancient ancestor’s actions lead to our recent ancestors.
Let us remember those whom we remember.
Let us acknowledge those we know of, but do not remember.
Let us praise our ancestors. Let us invite them to be with us.
Let us remember those who have given their lives in the battlefields near this place.
Hail our hallowed dead, hail the ancients buried in the hills, hail the valiant ones, and hail the recent dead.
    Hail our ancestors.
